Slipped these on at work the moment they arrived. Wow, these are actually motorcycle boots that are comfortable. They are much sturdier than they appear in pictures. Very good ankle protection. I may just make a velcro retainer for the laces myself. I was going too use these solely for motorcycle safety instruction, but they may just become my regular commuters as well. I got the "slight blemish" batch and you can see that there's a little extra glue on the right boot's outer toes. Left boot looks perfect. Definitely a great deal if there are any blems left, but now that I have them, I would have paid full price for the flawless ones as well.
