These are great warm weather gloves! Ventilation is great but they still feel fairly substantial. The leather is soft and smooth, the curvature is nice, and the reinforcement in the palm is reassuring. Mind you, these are still light gloves. I'll stick with my gauntlet gloves for long rides, but for kicking around town these are great.
