I would prefer to wear jeans, but I know you have to dress for the fall, not the ride. Especially riding with my sons, we need something better than denim. I have a pair of overpants, but got the Cortech Cargo pants cuz they were a compromise between jeans and the overpants. (and such a great deal!) I wish they had some armor, but the kevlar is certainly a pro of these pants and being able to convert them to shorts off the bike is great. I love my Fieldsheer Slip on jacket, too!
