After being clued into the fact that my current 'Adventure' boots weren't going to cut it once I started riding off-road more often, the research 'adventure' began to find proper off-road boots that weren't Moto-cross boots. There are a LOT of choices out there. It took watching several videos reviewing Adventure boots specifically, as well as reading numerous reviews about the various offerings from the various vendors offering actual Adventure boots to narrow down my choice to the Sidi Adventure 2 Gore-Tex boots. The height is perfect, the support is outstanding, and the fit is very accurate. I wear size 11, my feet are on the narrow side, and these are snug without being tight, however, I was a bit concerned about that. I ride all year 'round and on the cold days I use 12-volt heated gear, including 12-volt heated socks. The heated socks do not fit inside the boots, but I did find that 12-volt heated sock liners are thin enough to fit nicely without causing my feet to feel squashed inside the boots. So, keep in mind, the reviews that talk about these boots tending toward the narrow side of life are spot-on. For all the years I've been riding, I think this is the first pair of boots that actually, truly fit me properly. The Sidi Adventure 2 Gore-Tex Boots are a solid purchase and I'm looking forward to getting many, many miles out of them.
