This is the newer more perforated version of the Seesoft Back protector, the Seesoft Air. I have placed it in my Rev'it Quantum Air Jacket. It hasn't been warm enough to ride here in the Midwest yet, but the back protector fits like all of my other Seesoft Back Protectors.I am waiting for a really hot day to see if the extra perforations really make a difference. I believe that they will. Anyway, the main purpose is protection, not ventilation, and I am sure that it will serve its purpose, if I ever need it. Thanks, Brian J
