After looking at the sizing chart I decided to go with XL. Normally I order XXL in a jacket, but this is more of a shirt and the sizing chart makes XL look generously sized as a shirt or slightly smallish as a jacket. The sizing chart is accurate. It works very well as an over-shirt. I just wear a T-shirt under it. It is after all hot-weather mesh gear. The armor is as good or better than in my AGV Sport jackets (quality, reputable stuff). The mesh carrier is reasonably heavy. It isn't track gear but it'll is vastly better than nothing. It is comfortable, and the airflow is excellent. $30 is well below MSRP which is why I bought it. It is worth MSRP. Let's face it; we all need to consider the cool factor. With this unusual design it is there. It doesn't have a zipper and it is mesh so when you out to the coffee shop, restaurant or bar it is reasonable to leave it on. You get to legitimately walk around looking all tough in your riding armor.
