The first gear pants are top notch. Very heavy duty leather, whilst not a warm weather pant, I have tested these pants down to 25 F and they definitely are up to the task of cold weather overpatns. The generous leg zippers make donning and removal an ease even with clunky combat boots. Overpants are a godsend for commuting. At the price these are being offered the only bad decision you could make is to not purchase a pair. One tip, have a friend mark the legs with chalk where you want them to fall. I suggest marks while standing as well as while sitting on your main bike to get a good pre-cut guide.
