I picked these overpants because they seemed to look like real pants and not the "snow pant" look of some pants I checked out. Since I do most of my riding in nicer weather I wanted something that would have air flow and keep me cool. These do exactly that. They are also great for some added protection with knee pads. The adjustable waist is great and gives a wide range of sizes so if you are like me and tend to gain a few pounds in the winter you can adjust them to fit in the spring. I think on a super hot day I would wear this with no jeans under them. The only thing I would add are some extra buttons on the bottom, at the ankle, to make them a bit tighter when walking around in them.
