Love my 2012 RF-1100! Fit and finish is top notch as every Shoei I've ever owned. It vents well and the lid system I think is easier to open on this one, than my previous RF-1000 from back in 2009. Helmet size is still true today as it's been in the past for me. I think this version may be just a tad bit louder than my old RF-1000 but it also has a bit more ventilation, and mostly you only hear a whistle when turning your head to check lanes. Definitely not a deal breaker by any means. Plus the promo for the free shield and gift card made this a sweet deal! Love the lid, may have to get another in blue! Thanks NewEnough!
