The fabric is very soft, thin, and comfortable. Very wearable baselayer for everyday use. The heating system seems to work great so far. I've only tried it out around the house, but it certainly gets toasty, and I think it will work great for winter riding. My only issue is that the length of the body is a few inches too short. I followed the size chart and decided I should get a medium. (For reference, I am about 6'1" and 185lbs) The sleeves are too long (not a big deal), the chest fits great, and the collar is perfect when zipped up. However, when I bend over, the back pulls up quite a bit, and because it's an elastic material, it doesn't really come back down to my waist. I am sticking with the medium anyway, because I think the large would be too loose around the chest, and the sleeves would probably reach past my fingers. All things said, I'm happy with the purchase and can't wait to try it out on the road.
