The pinlock shield works great, just as advertised. Riding in the rain is much more palatable without having to deal with a fogging shield. Couldn't be happier. The dark smoke is my daily commuter, and I'll throw in the clear insert at night. It's much easier to carry around an insert than an extra shield. I'm keeping my old shields in the Tourmaster pouch, they fit nicely, and I'm confident they won't get scratched while in the pouch.
