Bought this on sale to give it a try. This is my first experience with modular helmets and so far, so good. I have noticed it is a little noisier than full face helmets but not terribly so. Just being able to keep it on during gas station stops and drive-throughs makes this helmet worth having around. A note about fitment: even after measuring my head I have found that I require going a up a size with HJC helmets. This is not the case with other brands.
