I've tested those pants during a lot of short/commuting trips and one 2-days ride just recently and I am more than impressed by their quality and features! Luckily, I never had to test how they work in a crash situation, but I can attest a surprisingly good water resistance, nice and comfortable style, and good fit. Actually, I can even wear those pants as overpants over a pair of jeans (what I did on the 2-days ride) for increased warmth. I usually wear size 30 jeans and ordered the 30W size for the Cargo Pants. The only thing that I feel is missing is a Velcro to adjust the leg opening.
