Several years ago I was involved in a skiing accident and broke my upper left arm in four places. Since then I have worn my Joe Rocket Ballistic 2.0 motorcycle jacket when skiing. I recently influenced my wife to wear a moto jacket while skiing, and though she does not ride with me, she now skis with this FirstGear Kilimanjaro 5.0 jacket.
