I've been bungee-cording a duffel bag to my rear seat for years when I need to take lots of stuff on trips. After a camping trip earlier in the year when everything was stuffed to the max and I had to mess with taking it on and off and blah blah blah, I decided a tail bag was in order. I used this bag on a trip from Pittsburgh to Seneca Rocks, WV and Shedandoah National Park in VA and I absolutely LOVE it. So nice that the weight doesn't cause it to shift around, and so easy to take on and off. The supplied rain cover is easy to get on and off while on the bike (a big plus over my old setup), and with everything expanded I can't imagine what you couldn't get to fit in it. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who uses their bike for weekend getaways, or to someone who doesn't want saddlebags.
