These are very functional gloves. They're not super padded but i feel offer an adequate level of protection. The leather palm overlaps the thin wrist strap so that it won't blow out in a crash. I've tested them to be waterproof and the insulation works well for how thin it is. They fit well and are very comfortable. The wrist strap keeps them nice and snug.
