The Moto GP Pylon gloves offer good protection and covering for a gauntlet glove. I use these in 50-90 degree weather with no problems and really like the way they feel while still allowing good use of the controls. They have padding rather than hard armor so I would recommend these for normal street riding rather than track days. The Teknic Sturgis Boots are a good deal for the price. The leather is soft and very durable. The tread holds up well and they are reasonably comfortable, though I would recommend an insole if you plan to use them all day. My only gripe was the buckle that contributes to the cruiser look. It didn't help much with the boot and hindered putting them on and taking them off. In the end I removed the buckle and they work fine with just the laces.
