First pair of pants were defective, NE exchanged them without trouble, second pair was great. I'm a 32W-32L, which is medium, however I went with large so I can use these as overpants, and it works fine. Only gripes are: I wish the length was a bit longer, the pant legs are about an inch short when in the riding position (if you wear short boots). And it says removeable hip pads, but I can't figure out how they're removed. Other than that, they're great!
