Make sure you order a size larger like they say. My hand measured 9" but I went with XL and it fits perfectly. The gloves vent a bit due to the holes in the fingers. I like the amount of feel I get in the palm, helps me maintain contact and control of the grips. They are nicely armored and I feel that if I was to go down I would be as good as one can be. I've slid down concrete in gloves thinner and less built than these and I was OK so these make me feel very safe.
