I bought this jacket to replace my Teknic Freestyle jacket (also from New Enough) which was stolen from me, thankfully New Enough still had amazing prices on these jackets. About the jacket, it is not the best warm weather jacket (nor is it claimed to be in Paul's comments) I took the jacket for a 500-mile ride this past weekend in 80 degree weather and I was plenty warm with just one long-sleeve shirt underneath, even after I stopped to remove the insulating vest and open-up all of the zipper vents in the jacket. But in colder weather or riding with the chance of rain and this jacket would be much more in it's element. The armor in this jacket adds a sense of security in knowing that you'll have some measure of protection in the unfortunate event of a crash, and my experience with other Teknic textile jackets leads me to believe that this jacket would be fairly watertight in case I get caught out in a rain storm. Regarding the sizing, I bought a size 44 because in the limited remaining stock this was the closest size for me. My body measures 41" chest/37" belly and I can tell you that the jacket is sized quite generously there is plenty of room inside for me to layer up once the weather cools down. All in all a very nice jacket (especially taking the price into account), thanks again New Enough!
