These boots are worth a hard look if ankle support and protection are a priority. I have prior ankle fractures and sprains and wanted a tall boot with roll support, the Infinity GTX Touring have great ankle protection while remaining flexible fore and aft for walking without a B-movie monster gait. I wear a 9.5R US boot and erred on the larger side with size 44's. The toe box is roomy to avoid forefoot pressure yet the double buckles and velcro shin flap have plenty of adjustment allowing for normal to thick socks as needed. The boots also fit underneath a regular jean leg for wear around town without the full-on moto look.
