I had a bit of trouble deciding on a pair of boots for my weekend canyon riding. The Sidi Vertigo Air was looking like the winner for me, but then I noticed this new(ish) TCX offering. The Vertigo seems to get a thumbs up from just about everyone, but offers substantially less ankle protection than the Corsa models. The TCX Competizione S, at the same $300 price point, has the same TCS ankle joint protection as the $100 more expensive Competizione RS and equivalent Sidi Vertigo Corsa. Decision made, and so far it seems like a good one. NewEnough delivered really quickly, as usual!
