The Teknic Violator Gloves are hard to beat for the price. For me they seem to run about one size small. I wear an XL in Joe Rocket and the Teknic's fit on the snug side in an 2XL. Other than sizing they are great. Plenty of ventilation keeps my hands cool. But now that the weather has turned colder I've switched to some winter gloves, the vents were working too well. Breaking in took about two weeks of almost daily riding. They fit well out of the package but now they feel like they are part of my hand. The leather does feel a little thin but in over two months of constant riding I haven't noticed it even starting to wear.
