The main reason I bought the FirstGear HT II Overpants was for protection. I haven't been able to put them to the test for that, and hope not to! But I do like their ability to let me dress for an office job and then simply pull on a layer of weather and abrasion protection for the commute. They are sized large enough to easily accommodate my normal clothes, even with the insulated layer. The quality is high, they look sharp, and I feel more comfortable and more protected in them than riding in jeans. NewEnough did a great job getting my order sent out quickly - thanks!
