I had previously bought a riding jacket which was too warm for summer riding so I decided I needed a mesh jacket for summer. I did a lot of research and decided to buy the FirstGear Mesh-Tex 3.0 jacket. It came very promptly and I love it. I thought it could use a little more reflective material so I had some added at a local uniform shop. I love the fit and have been very pleased with it. I am currently researching some riding pants for cold weather riding and will probably end up with the Tourmaster Venture pant which I have just been reading about.
