Sizing Information

We found this shoe to be sized correctly for length, so choose the size you normally wear in a men’s shoe. The width is considered “D” or “normal”. If you are between sizes, I’d recommend choosing the larger.

Our Two Cents

The Trailblazer Boots by Tour Master are new for 2021. These boots are part of their Horizon Line which is aimed at adventure riders. These boots are a sturdy adventure boot design with a waterproof lining and significant protective features.

I’m really impressed with the value in this boot! Several years ago, we saw many boot makers come out with a style line like this… a hybrid between a street boot and an off road boot, something which is taller and stiff enough for off-road use, but comfortable enough to wear around when you get off the bike. This boot looks really nice and is priced significantly below the premium brands. Compare to the Adventure Low boot by Forma at $239. I’m not claiming this boot offers the exact same premium quality, but it is close and not everyday needs and/or can afford the best brands.

The leather used in this boot looks and feels good and the shaft and ankle areas of the boot are quite stiff (as they should be) to give good support for off-road pursuits. The sole feels sturdy and has stiffening in the shank. The shin, toe box, and heel surround are all well reinforced. Also, each ankle bone gets an integrated impact protector. The only area where I spot some lesser quality/expense components is in the buckles. They are all nylon and just don’t feel quite as sturdy as I see on the top brands, but they work OK and may last just as long… who knows.

The boots have an integrated waterproof liner and the opening has a gator to keep water out up to nearly the top of the shaft, so they ought to perform quite well in wet conditions. Overall, a very nice boot for the money! :: Paul, 05-19-21
