Our Two Cents
The Stylmartin Marshall Shoes are a waterproof shoe that has great style and comfort for urban and commuter riders.
The Marshall shoes are made with a water repellent full grain upper that is available in a vintage brown color. The laces are multicolored to give the appearance of use/oil staining and the soles are also lightly distressed to match this vintage vibe. The interior of the shoes has a waterproof/breathable lining that will keep your feet dry as long as your pants cover down to the third lace eyelet on the shoes. That is where the gaiter connects the tongue to the upper.
The shoes have internal malleolus protectors and an overlay for gear shifter protection. The anti-slip soles offer some rigidity but not much, so I’d rank these on the lower end of the protection spectrum and great for off the bike walking around all day. That should be fine for most commuters and urban riders.
