REV'IT! Pulse H2O Boots
We developed the Pulse H2O motorcycle boots for the more sport-orientated asphalt rider; a rider who likes to combine their footwear with, for example, textile trousers. Taking hints from running shoes (laminated reinforcements), we merged the Pulse H2O with motorcycle functionality resulting in a technical and unibody upper; made from high-density polyester to promote lightweight and breathability of the upper. Because these are equipped with our breathable hydratex waterproof membrane, you will be sure to have dry and fresh feet when you arrive at your destination, despite what the weather is doing.

A waterproof layer is laminated onto a carrier to construct the REV’IT! hydratex®|Z-liner membrane. The carrier, in turn, protects the membrane against wear-and-tear damage, and the seams of the membrane are taped to ensure waterproofing. The Z- liner is constructed between the lining and the outer shell. The REV’IT! hydratex®|Z-liner membrane is used in garments that demand a high level of all-weather protection.

The heel of the boot is reinforced for added safety. The rider won’t notice it while wearing as the hard plastic has been heated to mold it into the perfect shape. The reinforced heel cup also contributes to a better posture of the foot.
Heat is used to form this shin plate to the shape of the very vulnerable area, so it requires an exact, customized fit. The REV’IT! shin plate conforms exactly to your body for ultimate protection.

Sizing Information
Beginning with some new boots models in the 2018 lineup, REV’IT! began using a new size conversion chart. The chart is listed below. Generally speaking, the boots run smaller than in past seasons for a given size. Their new chart reflects the smaller sizing. Using the new chart, you’ll be buying a boot that is 1/2 to one size bigger than you might have chosen by using the conversion in past years. We tried on this model and confirmed the smaller fit.
Our fit advice is to use the chart below to choose an EU size based upon your US street shoe size, while keeping in mind you may be choosing one size larger than you may have bought from REVIT in past seasons. If you are between sizes in the chart, choose the larger.

Our Two Cents
For Fall 2021 REV’IT! really kicked their shoe game up a level. The REV’IT! Pulse H2O is geared towards sport oriented riders.
The REV’IT! Pulse H2O boots have a polyester upper with a REV’IT! hydratex® Z-liner membrane for breathable waterproofing in all weather conditions. The boots have all the protection you would expect in a touring boot, reinforced ankles, heel, and toes with an ankle cup, integrated shank, and shift pad. On top of all that REV’IT! has also integrated thermoformed heel cups, toecaps, and a shin guard that will mold to the shape of the rider’s leg over time for a perfect fit. The boots remain comfortable within that protective shell thanks to OrthoLite® X40™ foam insoles and a slip-resistant sole that performs on and off the bike. The rear of the boot has a small reflective patch for increased nighttime visibility.
The upper on this boot is designed with influences from athletic shoes. On the top of the toe box and along the outer side is a beveled polyester with a look very similar to a mesh shoe, however, this material is not mesh (though it does likely help the hydratex® liner breathe).
The REV’IT! Pulse H2O boots are a great sporty option for riders looking for all day comfort and all weather performance in a boot that takes some styling and design cues from athletic shoes. The hydratex® membrane performs well at a fraction of the cost of the higher end names in the waterproofing category and that means these boots pack significant technology and innovation into a reasonably priced motorcycle boot. :: Mike, 05/13/2022
