Sizing Information
We recommend you use the sizing chart below to choose a European size based upon your US street shoe size. If you are between sizes, we’d recommend the smaller of the two since the conversion size seems to be on the generous side for both length and width. We’ve been using this chart for several years with REVIT shoes and boots and it works well.
In trying on this model, we think they offer a D or E width. Those who sometimes have trouble finding a shoe or boot wide enough in a standard width might find a fit here.
Note: REVIT offers sizing conversion information in the shoes, on the boxes and on their website and often the conversion advice is conflicting, so please don’t be concerned if you see conversion info that differs from the chart below.

Our Two Cents
The Astro Riding Shoe is a new model for REVIT in 2021. This is a high top sneaker/hiker style with very nice leather materials and a sturdy build.
I like the comfort of this new shoe! If you enjoy owning higher quality footwear (and don’t mind paying for it), I think you’ll like this style. There are a few types of leather here and all have a very high quality feel. The shoes are well vented with portions of breathable fabric on the toe and on the sides of the foot and you’ll also see large sections of perforated leather on the sides of the foot.
The sole is well padded and there is reinforcement in the arch area (shank) which is very important for riding that requires bearing weight on the pegs. The ankles have a couple smallish armor inserts built into the padding that goes around the top of the boot. Those armor units are positioned to be on top of your ankle bones for impact protection. The heel cup is well reinforced and the toe area has only “average” reinforcement. My only functional complaint is that with the high top design and relatively narrow ankle opening, you’ll have to manually untie and loosen the laces each time you take them off, and the lace holes are “speed laces”, so be prepared to lose a half minute of your life with each wearing..
The marketing description from REVIT below is very good and quite accurate, so have a look over that too. Very nice boots! :: Paul, 06-16-21
REVIT says: The Astro Riding Shoes from REV’IT! blend moto-centric rider features into the style of a techy athletic high top. With the exception of the 3D air mesh toe covering, the Astro Shoes use nubuck leather for the entire upper. Side panels are perforated. Thermoformed heel and ankle protectors are built into the boot’s upper to protect the rider during a gravity penalty on the bike or on the courts. A thermoformed cap on the inside of the toe is mirrored by a leather shifter pad on the exterior. OrthoLite engineers the X40 insole for on- and off-the-bike comfort that is cushier than a foul line dunk.
