Sizing Information
These shoes are sold in US men’s sizes. We find Alpinestars sport shoes like this one run snugger and a bit shorter than the boots in their line. I think these run more like Nike sneakers, which generally run about one-half to one size smaller than standard street shoes.
My advice would be to buy one size larger than your standard street shoe size, or the same size as you wear in Nike. If you are between sizes, choose the larger.
Our Two Cents
The Alpinestars Primer riding shoes are a new style for fall 2021.
These shoes do not offer much in the way of protection, but they do look good. They are missing the normal upgrades you see in riding specific gear like a shank in the sole, toe reinforcement, and ankle protection. These shoes only have a little extra padding at the ankle that appears to be more for comfort than anything else.
If you ride in sneakers and need a new pair, these are for you. But if you are looking for protection then I suggest you keep looking elsewhere. :: Mike, 12-15-21
