Items showing “3-5 Days” will ship as soon as we receive the item from the Dainese US distribution system which can range from one to four weeks. The Dainese US distributor relies on inventory in their US warehouse as well as inventory overseas. Unfortunately, their system is not capable of giving us a more accurate real-time estimate. If you are concerned about the shipping time on any particular item showing “3-5 Day” availability, please reach us using the Customer Service link here on our website, otherwise, we’ll assume you are OK with the longer time frame for delivery.
Sizing Information
We tried a selection of these boots in our showroom and found the size chart conversion to be accurate for length. The width of the boots is “medium” or C/D width. We suggest using the size chart to choose a size based upon your US shoe size, or of course, choose the European size you wear if you know it.

Our Two Cents
The Dainese Tan-Tan shoe is a lace-up leather boot with some motorcycle specific protection features. The styling is excellent and looks great on the street.
I see a couple of really strong attributes with this boot. First, the materials and style are just great. It’s casual with the textured leather and suede, but the materials look very expensive and sharp. The build quality looks great also. The second thing that is a major plus is comfort… wow, the thicker wedge sole just feels great. If I had to be on my feet all day, I bet these boots would work better than nearly anything in my closet. The sole is stiffer than many street boots, which is a good thing for motorcycling, but the reinforcement doesn’t subtract from comfort. And those that are a bit height challenged, you ‘ll get a bit of a boost in height here.
The boots have circular armor inserts on both sides of the ankle, which is pretty standard these days for motorcycle boots. I’m a little disappointed that there isn’t any reinforcement built into the toe and heel areas. Both feel pretty soft to me. They do include an extra layer of leather over the toe area where the shifter hits to extend the life of the boot.
Overall I really like this boot for the styling and comfort and would happily wear this boot even off the bike. The limited protection features, while typical for casual/fashion styles like this could be better. :: Paul, 08-08-19
