Sizing Information
We tried a selection of these shoes in our showroom and found the size chart conversion to be accurate for length. The width of the boots is “medium” or C/D width. We suggest using the size chart to choose a size based upon your US shoe size, or of course choose the European size you wear if you know it. If anything, we thought this shoe ran on the small side. Sneaker type styles often run just a touch smaller than boots. If if you are between sizes, I’d suggest the larger.

Our Two Cents
The Dainese Street Biker shoes come in two two version and offer sharp casual style and comfort along with some motorcycle friendly features
In the Street Biker shoe, you can choose the D-WP version or the “Air” version. The D-WP comes equipped with a waterproof mid-liner to make the foot area waterproof and the upper of the shoe is solid suede material. The “Air” version has perforated suede leather on both sides to flow air (and no waterproof liner). You can choose which version you think might work for your expected riding conditions. The D-WP might come in handy for a light shower or for wet streets, but being a shoe style, the waterproofing won’t be effective past the top of the foot, so I think the primary thing to consider would be expected temps. Choose the air version for hot summer use and the D-WP for the other two to three seasons. This product page offers the Air version so take the link below to view the product page for the D-WP version.
The overall construction here is pretty light duty, but these shoes do offer a bit of protection. There are built in discs on each side of the ankle bones to help with an impact. The heel area is lightly reinforced, but the toe isn’t… its more or less common sneaker construction. The sole has a bit of stiffness in the arch, but otherwise, think “Converse shoe”.
For light duty motorcycle use or for casual use, I think these shoes look great. If you are don’t any high speed riding then you need to look for something with more robust protection. :: Paul, 07-27-18
