Sizing Information

These boots are sold in US sizes and after trying on a few samples in our showroom, we advise to choose the size you normally wear. The width is “normal” or D width… it might even be E width. The instep of the boot is HIGHLY adjustable with the BOA system.

Our Two Cents

The Ridgeline boot is a new style for 2020 aimed at those who want comfort in hot weather conditions.

This boot is similar to other Klim boots except for a portion of the upper is made of mesh material which will allow direct air flow through the boot. You’ll be able to wear a sturdy riding boot like this in summer and stay comfortable.

This is a mid-height hiker with a very firm sole and an aggressive tread. The uppers have plenty of suede and rubber parts to make the boot very sturdy, but surprisingly the whole boot isn’t heavy at all. On each side of the ankle bone, there is some built in extra padding and the heel and toe areas are reinforced. On the left boot, there is an extra bit of rubber on top of the toe for the shifter contact.

The star of the show here is the BOA system which replaces traditional laces. The quick release and ratchet mechanism makes putting on and taking off your boots a breeze. The cables used in the BOA system slide easily through the “eyelets” so just one turn of the knob snugs down the front of the boot uniformly.

I like the overall look and feel of these boots. I’d be totally fine wearing these boots anywhere. The only clue they are “motorcycle specific” is that extra bit of rubber over the left toe box (which isn’t on the right), but other than that, they look like quality. :: Paul, 02-25-20
