Sizing Information
The size small and large fit Laverne and Shirley very well. To see how those two sizes look on our fit check mannequins, just click the “View Larger Images” link above. The fit of these jackets is easy. They are tapered at the waist, but not to a large degree so they will fit a wide range of body types. There are Velcro-close tabs at the hips which allows 2”-3” adjustment in or out. Also, this style has side zippers that will allow the belly area to be bigger which would help with fit if needed, or to give you more room when sitting.
Below is the sizing chart as provided by Highway 21. Based on the Fit Check and other measurements we took, we think the chart below to be accurate:

Our Two Cents
The Highway 21 Aira jacket is a great casual ladies style meant for the hottest weeks of the summer. Its a minimalist design and the entire shell is open weave mesh material, so air should flow right though.
This jacket includes a full set of CE armor for the shoulders and elbows and also a foam back pad as standard. The sizing adjustments are plentiful, so you’ll be able to adjust the fit so you’ll be comfortable.
As I mentioned above, this jacket is for hot weather use. But it does include a windproof and waterproof liner that you can use under the jacket. The liner can serve as a wind block for use in slightly cooler weather… cool mornings or traveling through mountainous areas where daytime temps vary with altitude.
This is a very simple design geared toward those hot temps. Most people will use a jacket like this a few months out of the year and then have other gear for cooler and or inclement weather. :: Paul, 03-05-18
