Our Two Cents
The Volcano glove by REVIT is an all-purpose short cuff glove for adventure or street riding. These gloves are well vented for hot temp comfort and they are available in both men’s and women’s sizes (take the link below for the other gender).
When I unpacked this new REVIT glove, I was all set to really like them. The look is definitely more polished than many other gloves. The materials sort of remind me of the materials in a tailored suit. The wooly looking material between the fingers and on the cuff isn’t insulative, but rather is a flow through weave to let air pass through, much like a mesh glove. The rest of the glove is made from a heavy duty man-made suede material that should really do a good job with protection and last a long time.
Having said all that, I’m not a fan of the discomfort in the fingers. The suede material is thicker than most and when the edges of the material that forms the fingers is turned inside and sewn, the edges are not comfortable. Yes, they’ll probably break in, but why torture yourself. There are LOTS of other gloves, even from REVIT that perform similarly. Go buy one of those! :: Paul, 04-13-21 (more about less-than-favorable reviews)
REVIT says: The Volcano Gloves from REV’IT! are the lightest ADV gloves in the REV’IT! collection with CE certification. Designed with a mix of on-road and off-road use in mind, the Volcano Gloves are more robust than a full dirt glove and feature a fortified microfiber synthetic palm. Air mesh on the back of hand keeps the hands cool and dry during high effort maneuvers. TPR knuckle sliders with Seesoft viscoelastic backing add protection. Temperfoam can be found again at the palm and thumb. A hook and loop closure keeps the gloves secure, and an oversized pull loop makes for easy entry.
