Scorpion Optima Jacket
We took our experience using waterproof / breathable laminated fabrics, and crafted a light weight seam sealed jacket with large direct core vents that can be used when it’s warm or when it gets cold and wet. Unlike traditional venting systems that send air to the outside of a liner, the direct core vents send air directly to the wearers body and is therefore more effective. when the weather changes from good to bad, all you have to do is zip a few waterproof vents shut, to keep riding. No more zipping in a separate waterproof liner. An EverHeat® thermal liner is included for those chilly days or when the temperature drops. the jacket has Exo-Tec® CE certified armor on the elbows and shoulders, and a pocket with PE foam as a back pad that can be upgraded. go ahead, ride when you want, in whatever weather you want.

Sizing Information
This jacket has a dual liner system and I’m evaluating the fit with the liners installed. The liners take up some room, so I’m finding the jackets fit a bit more trim than other Scorpion styles we’ve measured. Of course without the liners, they’d be more roomy and very close to how past Scorpion styles have fit.
I’d advise that most people will want to choose the size they normally wear in men’s clothing or by using the chart below to choose the size based upon a chest measurement. If you are between sizes, or if you prefer a roomy fit, then choose larger.
Size | Max Chest | Max Waist |
---|---|---|
Small | 36-38 | 36 |
Medium | 38-42 | 40 |
Large | 42-44 | 42 |
XL | 44-46 | 44 |
XXL | 46-48 | 46 |
XXXL | 48-50 | 48 |
