Sizing Information
We measured a selection these jackets and we also put the Medium on Huey and the XL on Dewey. We found the fit of these shirts to be a bit on the small side as compared to normal men’s clothing—about 1/2 size. And compared to Z1R’s standard sizing chart, they run more than one size small (Z1R gear runs a bit on the loose side normally) So my advice would be to choose one size larger than your normally wear in men’s clothing.
If you know your suit coat size or you have a tape and can measure, please use the size chart below. You’ll want to pick a size that is big enough for both your chest and your belly. This is not a tapered style, so most people will find an easy fit even if they have a bit of a belly. Generally speaking, I found the sleeve and torso lengths to be generous.

Our Two Cents
The Z1R Duke flannel shirt is just the thing for you if you want to ride in a flannel shirt with gun pockets!
Nearly every Z1R jacket we sell has extra-nice gun pockets and even this shirt is similarly equipped. The gun pockets, one on each side, are lined with heavy nylon material that should wear well, and they’ve sewn in a couple wide stretch material loops to anchor the equipment you put in there.
The shell of this shirt is a heavy flannel, but has but with a few features for the road. The front closes with snaps, but behind that is a zipper so the shirt won’t immediately blow open if you fall. It will also better keep the shirt closed if you have a gun inside. The collar tips snap down so they won’t drive you crazy flopping against your chin when you are on the road. Besides the gun pockets, there are two front patch pockets.
The inside of the shirt is lined with nylon mesh. This shirt does not have any Kevlar reinforcements or armor that you find on some riding shirts.
Overall, a nice simple flannel style shirt to wear as a jacket and conceal your firepower. :: Paul, 07-19-18
