REV'IT! Tracer Air 2 Overshirt
The Tracer Air 2 combines all the functionality of a mesh jacket yet is engineered in the style of our popular overshirts. A full mesh outer shell allows for optimal airflow, helping to cool the body down on those hot day/summer rides. Extensive development has led this overshirt to look like streetwear fashion material.
But take a closer look and it reveals its open structure that allows air to reach the upper body. The Tracer Air 2 sports our ultra-thin and flexible protectors at the shoulders and elbows and this overshirt can easily be upgraded with our back protector insert.

Sizing Information
We measured and tried on all the sizes in this overshirt and developed the size chart below to help you buy the right size. The overall cut is trim… some call it a “European” cut, which means it is close fitting and will work best for those with a trim build. For most people, we recommend you buy the size you usually wear in men’s clothing. Those with more stout builds will want to try one size larger than you normally wear.
We put a Medium and XL on our two Fit Check mannequins Huey and Dewey and the fit looks good (click the “View Larger Images” link above to see).
Sleeve and body lengths are noticeably generous so taller riders will appreciate the extra length. The arms are fairly trim so those with stout builds probably won’t like the overall cut, but taller and leaner cut people probably will love it.

Our Two Cents
The REV’IT! Tracer Air 2 Overshirt is an update on their best-selling overshirt style.
The Tracer Air 2 takes the popular style from the original and builds on it with a few updates. The two most noticeable changes are the addition of snap flaps to the chest pockets to allow you to close them and secure anything inside, and the removal of the hook and loop patch on the left shoulder that allowed you to swap the REV’IT! badge out for another if you had one.
The overshirt has a full mesh construction with an overlay at the back from shoulder to shoulder. This construction means it will perform very well in hot weather! REV’IT! has covered the bottom 2 button tops on the flap covering the main zipper to keep them from scratching the tank. This version has the same button down collar and two snap adjustments at the wrist as the original. On the interior of the jacket, there is one zippered pocket for additional storage. The overshirt comes with REV’IT!’s SEESMART™ CE-level 1 armor at the elbows and shoulders which is flexible and breathable while still offering fantastic impact protection. REV’IT! has also overlaid the armor with a PWR shield in these areas for even more abrasion resistance. The back protector pocket on the Tracer Air 2 is prepared for the REV’IT! SEESOFT™ CE-level 2 back protector which is sold separately (see related products below). Subtle reflective strips at the back of the arm are stealthy in the daytime and provide some nighttime visibility. There are two belt hoop loops and a short connection zipper inside the jacket for easy pairing with your favorite riding pants or jeans. We suggest the REV’IT! Safeway belt for secure pairing with any riding jean brand (see related products below).
The REV’IT! Tracer Air 2 Overshirt is a great option for the urban commuter or cruiser rider. The subtle style will fit in just about anywhere and the mesh construction will make these overshirts ideal for warm to hot weather riding. :: Mike, 08/12/2022
