REV'IT! Crux Sweater
Introducing the Crux sweater. A casual sportswear aesthetic riding garment created to blend seamlessly to like on and off your motorcycle. No change of clothes necessary.
The name of the game Comfort is the name of the game with the Crux sweater. We achieve this through its polyester stretch outer shell and the inner mesh lining. Movement isn’t restricted therefore riders feel free and to live in the moment. Peace of mind also comes through its included SEESMART elbow and shoulder protectors along with the CE AA classification.
Stay casual The Crux is a more casual offering in our collection complete with a knitted collar and cuffs, thumb loops, and a short connection zipper. Match it with a pair of jeans from our collection, a Safeway belt, and you’ll always be on trend on the road. It’s also prepared for the available SEESOFT back protector.

Sizing Information
We tried a size Medium and an XL on our Fit Check mannequins Huey and Dewey. Those are sizes they usually wear in an “American” cut jacket. This jacket from REV’IT! fits well enough and it looks sharp, but there is very minimal room left. Many brands from Europe exhibit a fit like this, such as Alpinestars. If you look at REV’IT!’s published size chart (below), you’ll see their estimate of chest size is at least a full size smaller than what you’d find in equivalent US designed clothing.
We measured each jacket and tried them on and we’ve concluded that the fit is just about one-half size smaller than what you would find in ordinary US men’s clothing. The amount the jackets are undersized is not as severe as REV’IT!’s size chart would have you believe. For most people, this means you’ll be able to buy the size you normally wear if you want a snug, European style fit. If you want a looser American fit, or if you are between sizes, choose one size larger.
Below is the REV’IT!-published chest size for each jacket’s alpha size along with our estimate of max chest and max waist/belly. This particular style is not a “sport” oriented style so there is not a lot of taper from chest to waist. I’d describe the fit as “casual”.

Our Two Cents
The Crux Sweater from REV’IT! is a casual sportswear aesthetic riding sweater that is designed to look good on and off the bike. At initial glance it looks no different than a normal sweater before your eyes catch the REV’IT! Logo. This sweater like other REV’IT! items such as the Parabolica Jacket really show the advancement in protection technology as the Crux sweater looks like a normal sweater while achieving a CE Level AA classification while featuring SEESMART CE-level 1 Elbow Protectors and SEESMART CE-level 1 Shoulder Protectors. It also has a pocket for the optional SEESOFT CE-level 2 Insert Back Protector.
The Crux Sweater features a polyester stretch outer shell construction with an inner mesh lining. Overall movement isn’t restricted as the Crux Sweater is straight cut with no tapering from the chest to the belly making it very comfortable. For additional comfort it features a knitted collar, a knitted cuff and thumb loop.
Additional features include a single slit pocket in the left sleeve, jeans loop at the back of the sweater to attach to a pair of jeans, and a short connection zipper in the rear. The REV’IT! logo on the back is also reflective to help with night time visibility.
Overall if you are looking for solid protection while keeping comfort and off the bike looks a priority the Crux Sweater is a good choice. :: Damir 3/9/24
