Sizing Information
We checked the sizing of this style with our Fit Check mannequins Huey and Dewey. They are wearing size Medium and XL jackets respectively. These are their “usual” sizes and they fit just fine. We also checked the chest and belly of the other sizes and find them to fit OK too. Therefore, we recommend you choose the size you normally wear in men’s clothing.
Overall, I find this model to run roomy as compared to some past Cortech jacket designs. This one fits much like a typical Tour Master jacket (Cortech’s sister brand). Those with an average to stout build will find a comfortable fit, but those with a thin build and/or those who like a snug fit will probably find the torso to fit loose.
If you want to make a size selection with your chest and belly measurements, use the chart below which lists max chest and max belly sizes for each jacket size. The measurements in the chart are a combination of the manufacturer’s size chart and also the measurements we take on the product samples. After you measure, you can choose a jacket size using the chart that will accommodate both your chest and belly.
Tall sizes are available in this jacket too. The sleeve and torso lenth in the tall size selections will be about 1.5” to 2” longer than with the standard size selections, so if you commonly need tall sizes in men’s clothing, you’re in luck!

Our Two Cents
The Draft Air 2.0 Jacket from Tourmaster is a warm weather mesh jacket that is designed to breathe. Overall construction is a 600 denier polyester shell with Armor-Link mesh panels, this combination of materials earned a CE Level A rating for abrasion resistance. And speaking of protection, for impact protection, the jacket comes with Armanox® armor in the shoulders, elbows and even the back, all armor is CE Level 1 rated. Honestly for the price of this jacket, $139.99 at the time of this review, it is really impressive to see a back protector included.
Moving on from protection, let’s talk about comfort, the Draft Air 2.0 from Tourmaster is much like all gear from Tourmaster, it is an American cut/fit, meaning a little extra room compared to European branded gear. I tried on a size XL, what I normally wear, and I had room to spare, no it wasn’t overly baggy or big, but really comfortable with no tight sport. Comfort is further aided by features like relaxed fit rolled shoulders, pre curved and rotated sleeves as well as 4 way stretch at the shoulders and elbows. Additionally to ensure a comfortable fit there are tab adjusters at the biceps and forearms, hook and loop straps at the cuffs as well as adjustable hook and loop straps at the waste. Additional features to note are an internal, zippered, Napoleon pocket, another internal pocket that is designed for holding your phone that is waterproof, two front hand pocket, and one rather large pocket on the lower back of the jacket that is zippered, all zippers on this jacket are durable YKK® brand zippers. Lastly, you do get reflective inserts on the front, back and the arms of the jacket, a single jean loop hook, as well as a dual way zipper that allows you to zip up your jacket but then open it up from the bottom.
Overall, you will always hear me complain against CE Level 1 armor and CE Level A abrasion resistance, I will always recommend AA + and Level 2, but with that said, CE Level A and CE Level 1 gear will always, always be better than no gear and honestly getting a CE rated jacket, with included armor, even the back protector at $139.99 is really hard to beat. Overall the Draft Air 2.0 jacket looks good as it is fairly simple in design and isnt overly branded (yes there are multiple logos but they are minimal), fits true to size and is very comfortable, especially if you need more of an American fit, and will flow a ton of air with all of its mesh components ensuring that you stay cool on those hot summer days. Again, for the price, it is really hard to complain about what you get. If you are trying to stay on a budget, need more of an American fit, and are looking for summer riding gear, the Draft Air 2.0 jacket from Tourmaster is worth checking out. :: Damir 7/19/24
