The TCX Staten WP shoes are a waterproof motorcycle ready take on the popular Chelsea boot style.
The Staten WP shoes use TCX’s in house T-Dry membrane which allows airflow while still keeping your foot dry. The Chelsea styling of the boot matches the popular fashion casual shoes with a leather upper and an elasticated side ankle area. The Staten WP is a little different though, it has a medial zipper for even easier access. The shoes have a suede like finish in the Anthracite colorway (which looks sharp!) that will quickly show scars from usage, making each pair as unique as the rider wearing them.
The TCX Staten WP shoes have reinforced malleolus (ankles), toe box, and a heel counter for the normal protection expected in a riding shoe. The sole is relatively thick and stiff while still being flexible at the toes for comfortable all day walkability. The variable texture patterns on the sole will give you good traction off the bike as well.
The TCX Staten WP shoes are perfect for that urban/commuter rider looking for an everyday shoe that is a little dressy and fashionable but still performs on the road.
