Sizing Information

These gloves are consistent with the major brands we’ve carried—Tour Master, Joe Rocket, Olympia, etc, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

The Scorpion Hybrid Air Glove is short cuff street/sport glove that prioritizes airflow for warm weather riding. Overall construction is goat skin leather, with an AX® Grain Laredo Polyester Palm, micro fiber overlays, a neoprene cuff as well as a 280G polyester Corduroy Stretch material on the fingers & thumb. Speaking of the cuff there is a hook and loop enclosure that features the scorpion logo on the wrist that allows for easy entry and adjustability.

From a protection standpoint these gloves are not CE rated, not necessarily because they wouldn’t pass the test (I believe the would be level 1) but simply because Scorpion is USA based and doesn’t take the time/money to get European certifications like a lot of other brands do. None the less, you do get a floating hard knuckle, impact phone across all the fingers at the finger knuckles, an additional overlay along the pinky side of the hand, as well as impact foam on the thumb, palm and side of the wrist.

From a comfort and convenience standpoint there is an overlay at the palm that will help with grip as well as durability as you grip the handle bars, accordion panels on the three big fingers, as well as a floating knuckle design that makes bending the glove and gripping with it quite comfortable. There is also plenty of air flowing areas that will keep your hands nice and cool. Touch screen conductive leather is used in both the index finger and the thumb and in our testing these gloves performed well with both android and iPhone devices.

Honestly there is a lot to like about this glove at this price point, we have gloves that are going to give you better materials, more protection and better features, but they will come in at a higher cost. If you are budget minded and trying to stay in that $50 to $70 range for a pair of gloves, the Scorpion Hybrid Air are worth the look. They fit as expected size wise, feel very comfortable on the hand and have fairly subtle styling (which I think really works for them). :: Damir 6/4/24
