Sizing Information
These Klim gloves fit more like American branded gloves than European branded gloves (which run a bit smaller). If you have experience with brands like FirstGear, Tour Master, Joe Rocket etc, I think you’ll find the fit comparable. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help. These gloves do fit slightly larger than the previous version through the palm but the finger length is the same.
Just as an FYI, you may have previous experience with Alpinestars and REV’IT! which generally run about one half size smaller, size-for-size, than Klim. So if a particular size in either of those brands is roomy on you, then you may be able to go down one full size in this style.
Our Two Cents
The Klim Induction gloves have been slightly updated for 2022 with new colors and upgraded materials.
For 2022 the Klim Induction gloves have a new Electric Blue Lemonade and Strike Orange colorways that really pop! They are both extremely bright and eye catching.
The knuckle armor is basically unchanged from the earlier version though this year they have left it a matte finish. Below the carbon fiber knuckle is XRD® foam padding for even more protection and comfort. The XRD® padding is also on the heel of the palm and there it is covered with Kevlar®-Reinforced Schoeller® fabric for abrasion resistance.
The gloves are made from goat leather with perforations throughout the palm and back of the fingers. The cuff also has some mesh overlay for maximum airflow. The palm has reinforcement in the key wear areas and the index and thumbs have touchscreen material that performs well on Apple and Android devices here at the shop.
Klim has kept the easy entry features that make this style a perennial best seller. There are zip entries paired with hook and loop adjusters and large pull on loops. Just unzip and easily slide the gloves on using the pull loop, then zip and adjust the hook and loop strap. After the first time, you should only need to zip and unzip for easy on/off of a secure fitting glove.
Overall the Induction gloves are nicely updated while not reinventing the style that has been one of Klim’s best sellers for years now. The fit is just slightly wider through the palm than previous generations for a more comfortable day one fit that doesn’t require much of a break-in period.
