Five TFX3 Glove
The short glove for long tracks, either paved or graveled. Another asset in the trail adventure range, the TFX3 is a small, lightweight, short glove that won’t weigh you down, perfect for taking all types of rides when the weather’s fine. Protective and comfortable, it boldly shows off its adventurous spirit with its elegant look and meticulously designed technical specs. The Clear Vision Pad and Touch Screen systems offer navigating comfort while Digital PU insets on the palm and the thumb offer grip. Supple goatskin palm is combined with a wide 2-way Spandex stirp on the topside for flexibility with ErgoProtech TPR shells and Kevlar® reinforcement for protection. Coated, water-repellent topside stretch fabric makes sure water drops slide right off, meaning you’re prepared for rain showers along the way.

Sizing Information
We’ve found these Five Gloves run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands… much like Alpinestars. This glove is not so snug that I’d recommend you buy one size larger than normal, but certainly if you are between sizes, then choosing the larger of the two should work. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help
Our Two Cents
Five Gloves are new for us this year and they seem to be a quality brand with nice features and function. The TFX3 gloves come in a standard water repellant textile/leather construction and an Airflow version which is identical with the exception of the water repellant and addition of mesh ventilation panels on the back of the hand and perforations on the palm leather for great airflow in hot weather riding conditions.
The TFX3 has a short cuff with a single hook and loop strap to hold it in place. The interior of the glove is very comfortable. The palm is a soft full-grain goat leather with perforations on the Airflow version. There are PU overlays in the key wear areas that have a textured finish for improved grip. The heel of the palm has a Kevlar® reinforced overlay as well. On the back of the hand there are dual TPR protectors on the knuckles.
The Airflow version has mesh paneling on the back of the hand and down the index and middle fingers. There are also integrated air intakes on the TPR knuckle protectors and Airmesh fourchettes between the fingers to maximize airflow.
The standard version has water-repellent stretch fabric on the back of the hand and down the fingers. The fourchettes on the standard version are Lycra-style.
Both glove versions have reflective material at the wrist and touchscreen capability on the index fingers that seems to work well on Apple and Android devices here at the shop.
These gloves are a great option for the rider looking for a lightweight short cuff glove with minimal protection. Pick the style that fits your riding environment demands (Airflow or water-repellant). :: Mike, 10/24/2022
