Sizing Information
These gloves are consistent with the major American based brands we carry such as FirstGear, Tour Master, Joe Rocket, etc, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.
Just as an FYI, you may have previous experience with European designed brands such as Alpinestars and REV’IT! which run about one half size smaller, size-for-size, than the American brands. It is not a universally true fact, but generally holds for most styles. So if a particular size in either of those brands is roomy on you, then you may be able to go down one full size in this style.
Our Two Cents
The Cortech Manix ST is a comfortable short cuff sport glove with decent airflow.
The palm and backhand are a soft goat leather with additional leather overlays at the pinky and palm for improved abrasion resistance. The heel of the palm also has a hard TPU slider. Across the grip is a silicone printed overlay for texture. The index and thumb have touchscreen material that seems to perform well on Android and Apple devices here at the store. On the backhand the goat leather is perforated on the fingers and below the knuckle from moderate airflow. The finger knuckles have TPR protectors and the main knuckles have a larger TPU knuckle protector with some padding underneath for comfort. At the cuff is a large hook and loop closure with TPR so it is easy to manipulate with the gloves on. There is also a small neoprene patch on the back of the cuff for a little stretch and a soft feet on the wrist.
Overall the Cortech Manix ST V2 Gloves are a good option for sport and commuter riders looking for decent protection in a short cuff package that doesn’t break the bank! :: Mike, 07-29-2023
