Sizing Information
We’ve found that some REV’IT! sport gloves run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands… much like Alpinestars. This glove is not so snug that I’d recommend you buy one size larger than normal, but certainly if you are between sizes, then choosing the larger of the two should work. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help
Our Two Cents
The Quantum line of REVIT gear includes sport leather jackets that can work for street or track (when paired with sport leather pants). The Quantum 2 Gloves are built to that same standard… ready for the street for sure, but well equipped for track days too.
For the price point, I think you’ll really like this glove. I find it to have a very professional look and feel. The digital camo color treatment on the back of the hand looks super sporty to me. This glove doesn’t have ALL the race features you’ll find on the best race gloves by Alpinestars, Dainese, etc, but it’s also offered at a very affordable price (i.e. not $400ish). Some things you won’t find? Kangaroo leather, extra layers of abrasive materials in the shell, and more elaborate protective features for the pinkie are the main ones you’ll see in the highest end gloves. But this glove does off a lot; molded protectors for the back of the finger, knuckles, and the side of the wrist, and a slider in the heel area of the hand too. The palm material is goat which is an excellent leather for street and race gloves for both longevity and “feel” for the controls.
This glove is lined inside with soft tricot-like material that makes them very comfortable from the start. And also note the expansion sections on the back of the fingers and behind the knuckle armor which makes it easy to grip your controls.
Take a look at the other Quantum 2 jackets from REVIT this year. You’ll like how the unique graphics on these gloves match up with the jackets. And of course, they are neutral enough to work with any other gear you own. :: Paul, 02-12-21
REVIT says: The Quantum 2 Gloves bring the racetrack focus of the Revit Quantum line to a long cuff gauntlet glove. A combination of cowhide at the back of hand and goatskin leather on the control side balances protection with feel. Accordion stretch panels allow mobility and full range of motion while upholding the gloves’ CE rating. Hard sliders overlay the knuckles, finger backs, palms and cuffs. An adjustment strap at the wrist and an adjustment tab at the cuff ensure the Quantum 2 Gloves securely interface with race suits and riding jackets alike.
