Sizing Information
These gloves are consistent with the major brands we’ve carried—Tour Master, Joe Rocket, Olympia, etc, so hopefully, you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help. With the thermal lining, they are slightly more snug than a summer glove, but that is what you want when it gets cold out.
Our Two Cents
The Tourmaster Roamer WP Gloves are part of their Horizon line of products geared towards adventure touring style riders.
These gloves are a medium weight full gauntlet option that features 120g of PrimaLoft® Silver insulation on the backhand and 60g of PrimaLoft® Gold Eco with grip control insulation on the palm side. This kind of insulation will keep you warm into some pretty cool temperatures and the thinner insulation on the palm allows for more dexterity on the controls. It also means your heated grips will still have some impact on the temperature you feel through them.
The palm is reinforced in the key wear areas and features Superfabric® sliders. These sliders are also seen on the knuckle and fingers of the glove as well as the cuff. The left glove features a visor wiper on the thumb. Dual hook and loop closures give you a secure fit and the option to adjust the cuff to fit over your jacket. The index finger and thumb have touchscreen material that functions on both Apple and Android devices here at the shop. Due to the nature of a winter glove, the dexterity leaves a little to be desired when texting, but it is better than nothing and will get the job done. These gloves should work well for most riders in cool to cold temperatures. :: Mike, 12-28-21
