REV'IT! Summit 4 H2O Gloves ~ Sale
Summit 4 H2O gloves have all you could need for riding through the seasons – those hot, then cool, damp then wet days that are so typical of the summer’s tropical, ever-changing climate. Robust PWR|Shell ripstop fabric fits snugly at the cuffs to ensure resilience, while three-layer softshell secures TPU knuckle armor into place. Palms constructed from tough, drum-dyed goat leather have a water-repellent finish, and a hydratex Z-liner and McFit® Technology take the worry out of unpredictable wet weather.
Tactile technology The Summit 4 H2O generates tactile feedback without sacrificing grip. Multiple layers act like one. – the high-quality adhesive of McFit® Technology bonding the waterproof liner to the body and fingers, a technique that not only improves dexterity but also eliminates bunching or pulling out the liner – a huge bonus in the cold and wet.
When adventure gets sporty There’s a sense of security as you pull the V-strap and lock the glove’s gauntlets to your wrists, with the feel of the hard-shell armor and Temperfoam® enveloping your hands. Knowing the TPU hard-shell palm slider and thumb protector are both abrasion and impact resistant. The truth is, these things work both ways: the more secure you feel, the sportier you ride.

Sizing Information
We find REVIT gloves run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands. The fit is very similar to Alpinestars which also fit more snugly than other brands of gloves. The tendency to run small is not so noticeable that we’d advise you to buy one size larger, but if you are sometimes in between sizes, your best shot would be to choose larger. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.
Our Two Cents
The Summit 4 H20 Gloves from REV’IT! Are an interesting glove as they are a full gauntlet glove that is waterproof, but is also designed to perform well in both the heat and the cold. REV’IT! Describes this glove as capable of riding throughout the seasons and that they are what happens when adventure gets sporty, and that makes sense based off of their design and feature set. Overall construction is a combination of Flock PU, drum dyed goatskin with WR finish, PWR Shell ripstop, PWR Shell stretch, Softshell 3L, as well as hydratex|Z-liner with McFit® technology to provide the waterproofing. For comfort the interior is lined with a push-pull tri-fleece liner that is used to boost comfort. And from a convenience standpoint the Summit 4 H2O gloves feature elastic at the wrist with both a hook and loop closure and a wrist strap, as well as a pull tab and a visor wiper (the material on the index finger is designed to clear water off of your helmet visor). A few other comfort/convenience features to note are touchscreen compatibility at both the index finger and thumb (in our tests working well with both Android and iPhone) as well as stretch fabric on the back of the hand, fingers and thumb.
Looking at protection, the Summit 4 H2O gloves are CE Level 1KP rated and feature Temperfoam® finger knuckles, a Temperfoam® palm slider, a Temperfoam® thumb knuckle, a Temperfoam® underneath knuckle protector, a TPU hard shell knuckle and TPU hard shell little finger protector, as well as a TPU hard shell palm slider and a TPU hard shell thumb protector. As you can see there are quite a few hard and sliding parts included in these gloves. In many ways their design features similarities to both sport and racing gloves. A few other items to note, is the laminated and reflective logo at the finger for night time visibility, and a grip patch that is featured at both the palm and the thumb to ensure optimal grip while riding in wet conditions.
The Summit 4 H2O gloves really are an interesting blend of features and materials, it’s almost like a cross between a waterproof adventure or touring glove and a full on sport or race glove. A lot of the gloves features and design remind me of REV’IT!’s Control and Ritmo gloves, and that is a good thing as both gloves are great. If you are a person looking for a high performance glove that features the protection and look of sport and some racing gloves but you need to stay waterproof as well, the Summit 4 H2O glove might just be what you are looking for. I will also add that they are comfortable and don’t fit quite as bulky as many other waterproof gloves that I have tried on. With all of the hard/slider parts, the full gauntlet design with two wrist adjustments and a waterproof liner, these gloves are extremely hard to beat for under $150. :: Damir 6/19/24
