Sizing Information

We find that gloves from REV’IT! are generally very consistent in fit from one model to the next, and we find they run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands. The fit is very similar to Alpinestars which also fit more snugly than other brands of gloves. The tendency to run small is not so noticeable that we’d advise you to buy one size larger, but if you are sometimes in between sizes, your best shot would be to choose larger. Hopefully, you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

These Dominator 3 GTX gloves from REV’IT! are the perfect glove to keep you dry and comfortable on your ride.

The gloves are an update of the previous Dominator 2 and REV’IT! did a great job of carrying over some of the features that made those gloves great. These gloves share the same vented knuckle protection and overall the style looks almost the same. The palms have a cross-hatch style material that helps with tactile sensitivity and dexterity in wet conditions. Leather padding is sewn into the high wear areas of the palm and on the index and middle fingers to extend the life of the gloves. Additional protection comes in the form of Temperfoam® on the fingers, TPR protection on the pinky, and TPU sliders on the palm and thumb.

The Dominator 3 GTX gloves have a GORE-TEX® Push-Pull tri-fleece liner that is very comfortable on the hand. The hook and loop wrist closure has two straps, one extends over the back of the hand before coming across the wrist parallel but slightly higher than the shorter wrist adjustment strap. These tandem straps allow you to adjust and find the perfect closure fit. The side of the left index finger has a full length visor wiper that should be easy to use. Touch screen material on the index and thumb seems to work well on both Android and iPhone devices here in the shop.

All that adds up to one beefy glove in terms of protection but the gloves are still comfortable and do not seem over-developed. They are a streamlined piece of riding gear that will get you through hairy situations in harsh environments. With the minimal venting and lightweight thermal lining, the gloves should be good for warm to cold weather and in dry or wet conditions. :: Mike,12-15-21
