Sizing Information

These gloves are consistent with the major American based brands we carry such as FirstGear, Tour Master, Joe Rocket, etc, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help. If anything, these gloves run a bit larger than usual, but not a lot, so I wouldn’t advise choosing a size down from your normal, but if you are between sizes, I’d advise to choose the smaller.

Our Two Cents

The Speed and Strength Straight Savage gloves are a full leather general purpose street riding glove. The leather used is soft and of medium weight and they are very comfortable right out of the package. The fingers are “boxed” meaning the seams are sewn on the outside of the fingers which is the most comfortable method of assembling gloves.

The back of the hand is lightly padded on the inside and there is an integral molded knuckle protector. The leather on the back of the hand is perforated and will provide some air flow into the glove. I’d say these gloves will be comfortable from warm to cool weather.

For the money, these feel like pretty nice gloves with better than average protection for a short cuff design. :: Paul, 08-04-17

I wear the Speed and Strength Straight Savage Glove in XL For reference, I wear measure 9 inches around my hand. I bought this perforated glove to go with my SS Upstate Riding shirt. I tend to wear gear from the same manufacturer, as I figure that at least the sames colors of gear should go well together. (Read more...)
